LAS VEGAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Bally
Technologies, Inc. (NYSE: BYI), a leader in slots, video machines,
casino-management, interactive solutions, and networked systems, today
announced that it was awarded a systems and games contract for
Pennsylvania’s newest casino, Valley Forge Casino Resort in King of
Prussia, Pa., which opened last month. Bally Technologies was selected
after a competitive and detailed evaluation process.
The new casino chose a broad array of Bally’s industry-leading systems
solutions, including the iVIEW™ floor-wide player-communication network
for each of their 600 gaming machines, and the iVIEW
Display Manager™ (DM) picture-in-picture-style player-user interface
on a majority of their games across games from six manufacturers. The
savvy new operator also chose Bally’s award-winning Elite
Bonusing Suite™ to add excitement across their iVIEW network using
player-centric, real-time interactive promotions such as Virtual
Racing™, U-Spin
Bonusing™, and DM
Tournaments™.
“When deciding who to partner with for our systems solutions, Bally’s
proven and long-term commitment to systems was very important, as well
as their many compelling, end-to-end systems solutions that will enable
us to compete creatively in our increasingly competitive market,” said
Saverio (Sal) Scheri, President and Chief Executive Officer of Valley
Forge Casino Resort.
“Not only does Bally offer an incredibly solid, proven, and powerful
solution of core systems products, they bring to the table iVIEW DM and
the Elite Bonusing Suite, which are going to allow us to differentiate
ourselves and add tremendous excitement across our whole floor,” Scheri
said.
iVIEW DM is backward compatible on most gaming devices with a
touch-screen display and provides a way for casino operators to present
self-service player-account access, marketing messages, and secondary
bonus games on the main game screen – without interrupting play.
Bally’s Elite
Bonusing Suite, when combined with iVIEW DM, adds dramatic new
levels of excitement and anticipation to the slot-play experience. The
EBS applications deliver floor-wide, personalized promotions,
second-chance-to-win events, and the ability for players to earn
valuable rewards, all without interrupting play on the base game. These
interactive solutions enable players to spin wheels, select and root for
their favorite contest-driven car or horse, get instant rewards on their
birthday, and participate in instant floor-wide slot tournaments.
Valley Forge Casino also selected a host of products from Bally’s broad
systems portfolio including:
-
CMP™
slot management system to manage casino, slots, and hospitality data.
-
SDS™
and CMP player-tracking system.
-
Bally
Business Intelligence™ advanced data analysis and visualization
solution for powerful data mining and campaign management.
-
CoolSign®
media-management solution for centralized management across the casino
floor.
-
TableView™
real-time table management solution for management of its table-games
operations.
-
Service
Tracking Manager™ rules-driven automated dispatch and alert system.
Valley Forge Casino Resort opened with Bally gaming machines accounting
for approximately 25 percent of their floor, including Bally’s exciting
new Grease™
video slot based on the world-class brand. In addition to Grease,
they selected a wide range of core video, spinning reel, and premium
games, including exciting titles like Cash
Wizard™, Vegas
Hits Roadtrip, Cash
Spin Jackpot™, and Betty
Boop’s Love Meter™. Valley Forge also chose a selection of games on
Bally’s award-winning Pro Curve™ cabinet, featuring the industry’s only
curved LCD to emulate spinning reels on a video slot.
“We are very appreciative of Valley Forge Casino’s confidence in Bally,”
said Sridhar Laveti, Vice President of Client Services for Bally
Technologies. “The expansive integrated Bally solutions will give Valley
Forge powerful new ways to entertain and market to their players right
on the casino floor, while providing solid, secure, and flexible systems
technologies for their inevitable growth.”
